On my desktop, in the upper right hand corner there is a digital clock
set of numbers and other system info these are large numerals about 2
inches big.
I have tried to find a way to delete it or move it somewhere else but
can't seem to find the facilities to do this.
Anyone know where I should be looking, I tried searching for time,
clocks, desktop but haven't found the controls for that clock.

Thanks to all.

And for some reason, it's also in tiny digits, on the upper left.

That one is Orage, the XFCE panel clock plugin.

That's a Conky.

There's a conky toggle in the menu that turns it on/off.

If you really want to get into it, there is also a MX Conky which
supplements the Conky Manager.

There's also a Conky section in the MX wiki:
https://mxlinux.org/wiki/help-files/help-mx-conky/

It also has a buncha' resources linked at the bottom.

The default clock 'annoyed me' a little at first encounter, but then it
began to grow on me :-)

Thanks Mike, A good thing we have guys like you and Paul hanging around
these newsgroups or we would be totally lost at times, Much like a ship
without a rudder. (or rudder jammed hard-A-port).
Yes I found the Conky toggle and it did the job.

Again thanks for the help.

You can make the 2" numbers smaller. You probably have .conkyrc, a
hidden file, in your home directory. Back it up, then experiment with
editing.

It's boggling what you can do with it.
I have simply Date/Time displayed, and

alignment br
gap_x 48
gap_y 4

puts it in the lower right corner.
